Every year Angel Covers holds the Gifts From the World Auction to bring attention to the educational needs of orphans and children in need worldwide.  Funds raised by the auction are used to improve the educational opportunities for these children.  Angel Covers believes that all children deserve an education, and that an education is one of the first steps toward ending the poverty cycle these children live in every day.

Sunday, November 4th begins this years auction.  Don't miss your opportunity to join us for this online auction featuring items donated and collected from around the world.  This year's auction will feature, jewelry, art, clothing and even an African safari.

Past auctions have made a tremendous difference for children's education.  At the Rhenzhen school in the Ganzi region of the Sichuan provice the children used to study on the mountainside year round.  No school building, no desks, very few materials.  Only boys were able to attend the school.  Thanks in part to funds raised by our Gifts From the World Auction, a building was purchased and renovated, classrooms were created with desks, and dormitories were created for boys and girls.  The children in this remote and impoverished region now have a better environment for learning.  In Kenya, textbooks have been purchased for primary and secondary schools and land was purchased for the construction of a secondary school.  While it may not seem like you are changing the world bidding on items, you will be.  You will be providing textbooks for studying, books for libraries, as well as building and improving classrooms for children.  Last year's auction is still helping to provide the opportunity for girls to attend school at Renzhen.  The possibilities for the future are only bounded by the resources made available.
