The Batang School is located in a remote area of the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai province. This school is located in one of the poorest counties in all of western China. The Batang School has several orphans attending as well as children whose parents hope that by sending them to school, they will receive adequate food. They use yaks to provide food and income to support the school. Learn more about the Yushu Batang County School. The impoverished students at the school need additional help. Just $10 a month will provide needed food, clothing, medical care and school supplies for these students.
